Monday – the start of another new week and this week, we are happy to tell you a little bit more about German publisher International Graphics and their postcards in the Fine Arts and Wild Apple collections. In 1981, publisher Lawrence Walmsley founded the company. Not as a postcard publisher, but more as an art publisher. Have a look at this YouTube movie, where the company is introduced. You can already see the quality of the postcards (and other items – but well we ofcourse focus on the postcards!)
You might already know International Graphics from the postcard series Highheels (by Inna Panasenko) or the Catitudes-series by Marilyn Robertson Georges. Classics already – they have been in our collection since we started selling the cards in the beginning of 2012. Last week, we got a big parcel of new postcards and we want to bring two sets to your attention. First of all, 4 great postcards with angels, all created by Elvira Amrhein. All with the great glossy touch & feel that is one of the characteristic attributes of all International Graphic postcards.
The second series we want to put your attention to are the great cards by Patrick Le Hec`h – a combination of romantic and surreal elements. All of this 6 works in our collection show nudes, combined with a detailed background. Some in Paris, some in New York – have a look and convince yourself!
So, about those prices – all new postcards by International Graphics are now availabe in our store for only 1,19 euro instead of 1,39. Want to get to know the quality of these postcards? Find them in our store now – for this great price! All cards are squares, matching envelopes are available if you need them. The finish of these cards is really amazing – you have to see for yourself to believe the quality. And: have a look at the other postcards from this colletion as well – as we will have to increase the prices on all their cards because of higher purchase costs at our supplier. Starting September 27th all the cards will be 1,39 instead of 1,29. So take this opportunity to stock up!
Next week, our last The Postcard Cure on a publisher. Wo do you want us to feature? Let us know in the comments – we might just listen!
