Poll: postcards with or without address lines?

Just a little questions from us, to you. Some publishers print lines on their cards where you can write down the address, for instance the publisher Van der Meulen. Others don´t – like Correspondances, Nouvelles Images or Santoro Gorjuss. We are planning to publish some new postcards in August and now we are wondering: do we design them with or withou address lines. So let us know and help us decide: do you like your postcards with or without address lines?

  1. Not every address needs the same number of lines !

Some address lines are ok for me if they are printed as very fine (thing / dotted) lines that can easily be ignored and overwritten if addresses are long and have to be squeezed a bit.
I have much more of a problem with all the other printings on the backsides of the existing Cardcetera cards. They surely look very pretty and give the cards a high recognition value but they are only nice for people who prefer to write with a usual ballpoint. If you prefer to use e.g. a fountain pen, the text is often interrupted through the raised print and the text looks spotty. I have experienced that a couple of times and find it sad.

Well… we have also heard from people that they also write with fineliners on these cards and can write just fine. But this is only for the themed collections right?
