The Postcard Cure: week 26 – Paris in black & white

It´s Monday again – a long way untill the weekend and even if you have a job you like, that isn´t a good feeling. So: here is our weekly cure for you: 6 great postcards, sharing one theme and for a whole week you get at least 15% discount on these cards. We call it The Postcard Cure! Week 26 features the theme PARIS! Because, well we love Paris and we think you do too.

And why wouldn´t you like cards of this amazing city? For a little tip: you can buy some amazing Paris postcards at the Dutch store Paris Paradis. Not just our The French Connection but some gorgeous cards by ParisChéri too. And each order is packed as a gift! Just like the French do – have you ever been to the store of Guerlain on Champs for instance? If you buy something there, the saleslady will take your item to the back of the store and comes back with an elegant paper bag – with lovely tissue paper. Just like a present. Well ofcourse, you will have to pay for it…

Ah… well for now we are just dreaming about Paris and visiting again! Fortunately, we still have the postcards. So, which one did we choose – it is hard, because the collection of Nouvelles Images features so many nice cards showing (parts of) Paris – both drawn and in pictures. But we also have the wonderfull cards of Trolez from Paris, plus her mini-cards. And well, ofcourse our own set The French Connection. We decided on picking only pictures in black and white this time. So the theme actually is Paris in black & white pictures. We promise that if you like this theme, we will offer other Paris related themes – like coloured pictures, drawings or squares (seen this set by International Graphics?!). But only if you like the theme, so do let us know! All the cards for this weeks postcard cure can be found here in our shop.

Next week, we will have a theme that was actually brought to our attention by one of our Facebook-fans: food & drinks! As that is actually two teams, it will be the theme for week 27 and 28.
